VirtuClinic is a full-service medical clinic providing a complete spectrum of physical and mental health care for individuals, families, and businesses available virtually across Alberta.
Our expert Nurse Practitioners provide a scope of care equivalent to physicians across Alberta. This includes:
Health assessments for new and ongoing issues
Mental health support
Prescription refills
Referrals to specialists
Lab work
Imaging requests (X-ray, MRI, etc.)
Our Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners are licensed by the College of Registered Nurses Alberta (CRNA).
Clinic Fees & Insurance Reimbursement
Our clinic fee is eligible for reimbursement through your employee health benefits, similar to claiming a massage or chiropractor appointment. Check with your insurance provider to ensure that you're covered.
If your benefits do not cover our services, your tax professional can provide guidance on reimbursement.

Hey there, I'm Melissa and am excited to meet you. I'm a trauma informed, Nurse Practitioner for Family of All Ages.
Over the past 15+ years of nursing, my clinical expertise includes addiction & mental health, youth mental health, pediatric care, chronic disease management, women’s health, men’s health, geriatric care, and preventative health care.
My goal is to provide the best care for my patients that's individualized to support and improve their overall health and well-being.

As a Nurse Practitioner for Family of All Ages (NP-FAA), I am trained to provide comprehensive care for all patients.
I have been working in healthcare since 2015 and bring a diverse clinical background in primary care, critical care, northern remote nursing, and infusion therapy.
My passion is building meaningful relationships with patients to help them be the best version of themselves. I believe in taking the time to listen, educate, and collaborate with individuals to create personalized treatment plans that support overall health and well-being.

My nursing expertise over 20 years includes roles in nursing education and patient safety, intensive care, mental health and addictions, workplace issues, stress, leadership and management, occupational health nursing, and community health.
If you notice that there's no Nurse Practitioner (NP) available, you can book with me. After our appointment, I'll meet with the NP to help support you.
For example, if you need a medication refill, book with me and we can get it started for you.
